Noy Cohen received his B.Sc and M.Sc in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University and his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (Computational Imaging) from Stanford University. He served as a consultant in the area of computational imaging at Google [X], as an Image Signal Processing expert at nVidia and as the algorithms group manager at Tessera Technologies, and helped pioneer one of the first computational cameras to reach high-volume production for the consumer market. Noy’s work in algorithms and architecture generated more than 20 patents and patent applications. He brings with him deep knowledge of camera architecture, computational photography, heterogeneous computing and embedded software architecture.
